Current Era

The Current Era is the term commonly used to describe the present period of the Universe, emerging long after the disappearance of most known civilizations. How many of them there were before, and how many eras have passed before the present one, it is almost impossible to establish exactly.

Most Worlds of the Current Era survive only as fragments, ruins, and isolated remaining regions. Because of this, much of the knowledge about the past is known only through artifacts, remnants of ancient structures, and translated records.

It is during this Era that Travelers continue their Path between Worlds, gathering knowledge, exploring the traces of Ancient Civilizations, and preserving what has not yet been completely lost.
